while the new reports on barbaro‘s medical situation are nothing to laugh about, i couldn’t help but chuckle at the following quote by his doctor:

on espn news they said that he has an infection on his left hind leg b/c of the pressure he put on it from not standing on his right hind leg. usually this is when they put the animal to sleep, but they’re not for barbaro.
