i think i speak for everyone that is in or around the basketball world when i say that we were all waiting for this game by lebron .

he’s a once-in-a-lifetime talent and we were all waiting for him to show it on the biggest of stages. 48 points. his team’s final 25 points. and, most of all, big enormous shots in a HUGE game on the road. welcome to the big-time, lebron.

we are all finally witnesses…

    “Like so many other diehard fans, I watch thousands and thousands of hours of sports every year hoping something special will happen… Maybe there are degrees of the word, but still, every time we’re clicking on a television or heading to a ballgame, deep down, we’re hoping something special happens…. Watching King James take over Game 5 and finally earn his nickname, I felt like something substantial was happening. Like my life as a basketball fan was being irrevocably altered…. We’ll call this “LeBron’s 48-Point Game” someday.”
